What to Expect
At Morello Hills Christian Church we want to make you feel comfortable and prepared to walk through our doors. We realize that having great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and an enjoyable atmosphere could still seem a little scary to first time visitors. We know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions: What should I wear… what should I expect for my kids …what should I expect in church … Here is a quick look at what you can expect when visiting the church.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We are more concerned with meeting your needs than what you are wearing. Our ultimate goal is that you be comfortable and free from distraction. So, whether your dressed Casual, Business Casual, or Casual Dressy, you should fit right in.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FOR MY KIDS?
We know that as parents you need to know that your kids are safe, having fun, and receiving sound Biblical teaching. We have made every effort to reach these goals. You will see these goals reflected in each of the volunteers and even more so in the kids who currently attend Morello Hills’ Children’s and Youth Programs. We love our kids…and strive to prepare them to be disciples for Jesus Christ.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IN CHURCH?
Morello Hills is a small church with a big heart. You can expect to be greeted by a smiling, happy face whether asking questions or trying to find your way around Morello Hills. Our greeters can help answer any questions that you may have as well as direct you to information about the current and upcoming classes and small groups that we have to offer for each of your family members.
THE MESSAGE
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God’s way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, NLT)
In each message at Morello we rely on the inspired Word of God, the Bible. We believe that God uses preaching (the message each Sunday) to inspire and challenge people to understand and live out the truths found in the Bible. Real life examples, inspiring video clips, power point slides, timely topics; all are used to help the listener understand and apply the messages found in the Bible.
THE MUSIC
At Morello Hills we want everyone to feel how God can move mountains. Music is a powerful tool that we use to deliver God’s amazing messages of love and hope, and His gift of everlasting life. Our contemporary worship team, lead by Steve Corey, has a strong compilation of inspiring worship music.

Through singing praises to the Lord we are able to feel His presence in our lives.
