“With God everything is possible."
Let's just get this out in the open right now - no one likes to wait for anything! I mean, who enjoys waiting in line at Disneyland, waiting for enough money. Waiting for Friday. Waiting at the doctor's office? I mean, they should change it from the "waiting room" to the "torture" or "boring room!"
But there's one place I've come to appreciate waiting a little bit - when I'm waiting for God on something. I'm not passive, not inactive, not depressed. Just anticipatory and a little excited. It's kind of like a birthday, or Christmas. My feet begin to tap and my mind begins to turn, knowing God is already at work there, and I'm simply moving towards Him in my humanity. That, "God does everything just right and on time," (Ecclesiastes 3:11a, NCV), and if I'll wait, everything's going to be just fine.
