"Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed."
-1 Peter 1:13
It’s Father’s Day this weekend! It is widely known that the best way to begin Father’s Day is by going to church (at least that’s how I see it!) One great reason to think this way is that even if we had a great father or a not so great father, or they are alive or have passed on; we can all come together to celebrate our Heavenly Father and be reminded about His great love for each of us.
This Sunday we will wrap up our series called “Reflected – Reflecting the Light of Christ” with a focus on Self-Control and a celebration of Father’s Day! The list of the Fruit of the Spirit (which we have been following since Easter) appropriately concludes with Self-Control. How can we grow in this important character trait?
